what is the best way to clean plasma televisions?

I have a plasma t.v which is full of finger prints from my little girl. I was just wondering the best way in which to clean it as i have tried damp cloths an polish, neither of which have worked. These methods have made it worse and left streaks and smears on the screen.

I just bought a cleaning kit at target for 7.99. It has a dusting brush, a microfiber cloth, and a special electronics cleaner. Works very well!

First I would try to just use a clean, dry, soft cloth. See if you can just kind of “buff” it out. That would be the best way to do it if possible.

Otherwise, I would go to an electronics store or big box store and get them to sell you a cleaning solution designed for your TV. Then you lightly spray it onto a soft cloth (not on the TV) and wipe down the TV. This is fairly inexpensive and then you know you’re getting something optimized for your needs.

The DIY solution is just going to a drug store and buying Isopropyl Alcohol (91%). Mix that 1:1 with water. Then spray that onto the soft cloth and clean.
