Is it alright to use dry erase markers on a plasma television?
I wanted to use it for gaming (Halo, Modern Warfare 2). I was planning on using a small red circle of dry erase marker on my glass plasma screen for better aiming. I'm assuming it shouldn't harm the screen but couldn't find any information.

Yes defiantly, I do and I have never had any problems. I use to do it for Halo as well.

I wouldn’t risk it. Why not put a small Post-It on the screen (with or without the red circle)? That would be a lot safer.

If you really want to try it, I’d call the manufacturer’s question line first.

Wow, what has this world come to? No, do not try it.

No, don’t do it. The marker and the cleaner contains a chemical that will damage the coating on the screen.
