Damm you guys know more about? tvs than you do about your country surroundings and math hahah pick up a book sometime losers…
i only prefer lcd’s because it has no glare… plasmas are better in specification but if you have a well lit room, or even just a light in the room,? you get a TON of reflection. closing the curtains solves that but you still notice glare… I HATE GLARE LOL
besides with the whole motion & contrast comparisons i think they both look great regardless that plasma is better with picture. I’d go for LCD.
Plasmas also use 8 timnes more electricity than LCD’s and? break usually within a year.
where do these people get the money to just review? and unbox this stuff
LED has the best white levels. And OLED, beats? all. It is so vibrant, that it doesn’t need a backlight. Meaning it has superior black and white levels. The PS Vita will use it :D
I have the mitsu 70 inch dlp and have been satisfied with it for almost 3 years now. I have yet to replace a bulb and its 3d ready right out of the box. The only drawback I have found with the dlp is that it cant be wall mounted.
Also its great for gaming theres no burn in and even when I calibrated? it for rock band the tv was dead on right from the start.

i rather get a plasma still?
Coming from a CRT world, how does LED black levels compare with CRT??
@schaeferstv My Plasma doesn’t have burn in with? video games, there is some MASSIVE image retention but my HUDs have yet to stay on my screen forever. However I’m looking at DLP TVs right now because 50 inch the living room isn’t cutting it.
I have and will only own lcd was once considering plasma ,once i got to the store to look at it i could see everything in front of it ,including all overhead? lights reflecting in its glass screen.People with plasma love to brag about better blacks ,better colors,but to me due to reflection problems its unwatchable.
i have a 46 inch dlp tv i got it a while ago so it doesn’t have the technology that new ones have. but what annoys? me is that it has a reflective glare. do you know of anything that can reduce the glare ?
I think plasma consumes more? energy the lcd.
just my? opinion but im going to replace my panasonic lcd tv soon (i want bigger). and this thing is about 6 years old and the picture is just as good as day one. the bulb hours is up warning comes on when i turn it on but its been doing that for about a year and still gong strong. I know lcd’s are good and I cant justify spending the extra cash for a plasma. .. just saying
@schaeferstv?
new plasma tvs do not have burn in issues anymore, since they automatically refresh the image.
