I have a plasma. It is true to a certain extent. The only way you really can burn an image into the plasma screen is by having an image still for TOO long. ie, pausing your game w/out turning your tv off… If you have to, then turn your tv off…

    Simple!!

IF YOU PAUSE THE GAME or leave it sit…..it can burn the NON-MOVING image into the phosphor….

QVC, MSNBC, CNN….those types of TV shows with the banners on the bottom can burn the banners on the TV if you plan to watch it for 20 minutes or more…..

The trick is to watch it, then change channels for some time…
Avoid games with a stationary guns or scoreboard…..
    Don’t play Pac-Man or stationary mazes….

    OR BUY DLP TVs…..
I thought LCD TVs were bullet-proof until one of my customers with a LCD projection screen had a MSNBC banner burned into it….I’ve also seen it on LCOS/SXRD TVs too…..
