How much does a 50" plasma television weigh?
Hello I'm just wondering how much about does a 50 inch plasma tv set weigh? It is going to be me and my boyfriend shopping for a set soon and we're not sure if we need to have it delivered??

I think you would be looking at in and around 100lbs (maybe a bit less). It is okay to be lifted by 2 people. But as its plasma it CANNOT be put onto its front or back, it must be kept upright at all times. So make sure you have a vehicle capable of doing this (the 50" in its box is pretty large). Otherwise you might have to pay for the delivery.

Buy an hdtv off of a “trusted source” on the internet with free delivery. You may be able to also save on taxes and price for the exact same tv from a local store. Make sure that the internet site is a “trusted seller”.
