Does lcd or plasma televisions that are from here USA, works at Saudi Arabia ?

I’ve heard that the televisions here in USA does not work in Saudi Arabia because of the NTSC system but who told me that wasn’t sure about it .. Can you please give me the correct answer ?

I believe they can work, however you’ll have to purchase an adapter to plug it in since the American electronics run at 120V whilst European and Middle Eastern electronics run at 240V.


No…USA TV sets will not function in Saudi Arabia. They use the French SECAM transmission system, so a French TV might work there…
